Ah, yes. Yet another autism organization that defines the “autism community” as the families and professionals who work with autistic people. Apparently, autistic people need not apply to this community. Arghh.
I wonder when their research will involve actually talking to us and putting us in positions of power and authority in their organization…and respecting that we actually have a community of our own…
